As a result of the adverse weather conditions, educational institutions in the district have switched to online format. Additionally, power outages have been recorded in some villages, and work is currently underway to restore electricity supply.
Since February 11, heavy precipitation has led to snow avalanches on the roads Aala-Buka — Zhany-Bazar — Kirovka and Krasnaya Gorka — Ak-Tash, temporarily halting traffic. More than 10 units of special equipment have been deployed for road clearing.
The Toguz-Toro district is also facing difficulties due to weather conditions, where in some populated areas the snow cover has reached one meter. After the roads were cleared, transportation communication was restored, and schools have switched to distance learning.
On certain sections of the alternative north-south road, traffic is also temporarily restricted due to avalanches, and control posts have been established. Similar restrictions have been imposed on the section bordering the Jumgal district of the Naryn region.
The situation in the Chatkal and Toguz-Toro districts is under the control of the presidential representative in the Jalal-Abad region, Tilek Tekebaev, who has instructed the relevant services to take measures for prompt response.
