On February 11, information was received at the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata District that storage and distribution of narcotic substances was taking place in one of the houses in the village of Novopokrovka. An investigative operational group immediately went to the scene, and the information obtained was confirmed.
On the same day, around 13:30, a 16-year-old local resident named K.B. was detained. His behavior seemed suspicious to law enforcement. During a search, a white powder with a characteristic odor was found in his possession, packaged in wraps and taped with duct tape. A total of 10 bricks were seized. The examination showed that this was a synthetic drug called "Alpha-PVP".
These actions were classified under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances with the intent to sell them.
The suspect was placed in a temporary detention facility while the investigation continues to clarify the circumstances of the case and identify possible accomplices.
