Two suspects in long-term extortion from truck drivers at 'Dordoi' were detained in Bishkek.
On February 9, two individuals suspected of illegally collecting money from drivers transporting goods from the 'Dordoi' market abroad were detained in Bishkek. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR).

According to the agency, the men, known as D. Zh. and R. u. A., extorted money from truck drivers for 15 years, using threats and physical force. D. Zh. is also suspected of colluding with law enforcement officials and having close ties with members of a criminal group, such as Kamchybek Asanbekov and Rysbek Akmatbaev.

As part of the initiated criminal case, the detained D. Zh. and R. u. A. were placed in the temporary detention facility of GKNB KR.
