The incident occurred on February 10, when the police received information from medical staff that a beaten man had been brought to the hospital. An investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene, recording the incident under Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Causing serious harm to health").
As a result of operational actions, a man named A.A., born in 1982, was detained. He is currently in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation continues to determine the possible involvement of the detainee in other offenses.
