In Bishkek, a blogger was detained on suspicion of torturing his wife
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, law enforcement agencies detained a blogger on suspicion of cruel treatment of his wife. This information was provided by employees of the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department.
It became known that a woman named M.D. contacted the police with a statement that her husband, also with the initials M.D., had regularly subjected her to physical and psychological violence for a significant period of time.
Previously, protective orders had been issued against the suspect multiple times due to instances of domestic violence, but he continued his actions.
As a result of investigative actions, a criminal case was initiated under Article 138, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, the man is under arrest in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department.
