On January 11, 2026, a statement was received by the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata district from citizen T.K., born in 1999, requesting action against citizen S.M., who works as an appraiser-cashier at the pawnshop "U.P." located in the city of Kant. As a person responsible for material assets, she was issuing fictitious loans at inflated values and embezzling the received funds.
According to preliminary data, from November 2024 to December 31, 2025, citizen S.M. misappropriated approximately 4,000,000 soms.
Based on these facts, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 210 (Embezzlement and Misappropriation of Entrusted Property) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, citizen S.M., born in 1986, was detained on suspicion of committing a crime and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, the investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
