A complaint was filed with the Internal Affairs Department of the Alamedin district by a farmer who owns a peasant farm. He stated that in October 2025, a livestock caretaker took on the responsibility of caring for and pasturing 50 calves until April 2026. However, in January of this year, he sold the animals and spent the proceeds, totaling 3 million 700 thousand soms, on gambling at an online casino.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 210 ("Embezzlement and Misappropriation of Entrusted Property") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
The suspect, born in 1998, was detained by police officers and placed in a temporary detention facility.
An investigation is currently underway.
