A representative of a farming enterprise filed a report with the police, stating that an employee of this enterprise, J.E., born in 1998, took on the responsibilities of caring for 50 calves. This occurred in October 2025, and he was supposed to look after the animals until April 2026.
However, in January 2026, the man decided to sell the livestock, and the proceeds were lost in online gambling. As a result of his actions, the farming enterprise suffered damages amounting to 3 million 700 thousand soms, as specified by the Department of Internal Affairs.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to embezzlement and misappropriation of entrusted property. The suspect is currently in a temporary detention facility, and the investigation is ongoing.
