In the Issyk-Kul region, law enforcement officers detained a man suspected of two crimes: the attempted rape of a minor and livestock theft. This was reported by the press service of the regional police department.
According to the information, on December 27, 2025, a woman contacted the police, stating that on the same day at around 3:00 PM, an unknown individual committed sexual acts against her daughter, born in 2010, on the shore of the lake in the "Green City" recreation area. It was also noted that the suspect damaged her mobile phone and threatened her.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Additionally, on December 30, 2025, a statement was received at the Ton District Department of Internal Affairs from a local resident, R.B., born in 1977. He reported that on December 12, 2025, he hired a young man named O.K., born in 2001, through the mobile application "Lalafo" to graze his 30 sheep of the Arashan breed. However, on December 28, R.B. learned that O.K. had taken the livestock in an unknown direction, causing him material damage amounting to 15,000 dollars, which is equivalent to 1,320,000 soms.
A criminal case was also initiated regarding this incident under part 3 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational activities, on February 6, 2026, the suspect was identified and detained. He turned out to be a resident of Balakchy, O.K., born in 2001.
The court decided to place the detained individual in custody for two months. Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
