On January 22, a resident of the Panfilov district named Sh. A. approached the Jayil district police station. He reported that in November 2025, a certain I. R., who worked at one of the lyceums in Kara-Balta, offered him for a fee to enter his data into the electronic database to obtain a driver's license. The applicant paid 30,600 soms, but the promise was not fulfilled, and the money was not returned.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The suspect, I. R., born in 1966, who had a previous conviction, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
