It became known that on January 22, 2026, a local resident approached the Department of Internal Affairs of the Jayil district. In his statement, he reported that in November 2025, he met a man named I.R., who worked at one of the lyceums in the city of Kara-Balta.
This new acquaintance offered to enter his training data into the electronic database, for which he requested 30,600 soms. After receiving the money, he stopped communicating and did not fulfill his obligations.
As a result, the investigative authorities initiated a criminal case under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The police were able to identify the suspect and detain him. He turned out to be 56-year-old I.R., who had previously had legal issues. He is currently in a temporary detention facility.
