Employee of the Kara-Balta Lyceum Detained on Suspicion of Driver's License Fraud
On January 22, a resident of the Panfilov District approached law enforcement in the Jayil District with a complaint against an employee of one of the lyceums in Kara-Balta. The man stated that the school worker requested an amount of 30,600 soms under the pretext of entering data about his training into an electronic database for obtaining a driver's license. However, the promise was not fulfilled, and the money was not returned.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Police officers detained the suspect, born in 1966, previously convicted I.R., and placed him in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, the investigation continues to work, determining the possible involvement of the detainee in other similar crimes. Law enforcement agencies are appealing to citizens who have been victims of this individual's actions or have any information to contact them at the following phone numbers: 0701 20-31-02, 0312 22-15-58.
