On January 30, a 23-year-old man, H.D., approached the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Issyk-Ata District with a complaint about fraud committed by his acquaintance. According to the victim, in December 2025, this person deceitfully extorted 38,500 soms from him, promising to reduce the amount of alimony from 8,300 to 4,700 soms.
The fact of fraud has been registered in accordance with Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Police officers detained the suspect, 27-year-old K.A., and placed him in a temporary detention facility. During the investigation, it was revealed that he spent the money on his own needs.
