In the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region, the prosecutor's office conducted an inspection regarding compliance with legislation in the field of land relations. As a result of the inspection, information was revealed about the illegal sale of a land plot, with an area of 0.24 hectares, into private hands, as reported by the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office.
According to available data, the plot is located in the Savaisky ayil okmotu and previously belonged to a children's health center. Prosecutors discovered that the privatization of this social facility occurred in violation of current legislation.
Thanks to the intervention of the prosecutor's office, the land plot, valued at 15.6 million soms, was returned to municipal ownership.
