Kyrgyzstani Illegal Immigrant Detained in the USA for Fatal Car Accident
According to the agency, 28-year-old B.B. illegally crossed the U.S. border using the CBP One app and later obtained a commercial driver's license in Pennsylvania.
The incident occurred on February 3 around 4:00 PM. The truck driver was traveling on State Route 67 in Indiana. Preliminary investigation data indicates that he failed to stop in time before a slowing truck ahead, which led to him veering into oncoming traffic and colliding head-on with a minivan carrying up to 15 people. As a result of the accident, four people died.
The suspect was arrested on the morning of February 5.
