On January 31, a citizen named J.A. approached the law enforcement officers of the Pervomaisky District Department of Internal Affairs, reporting the theft of a bag containing 8,000 soms in cash from his BMW X5. The car was parked on Panfilov Street, and the criminals managed to escape from the crime scene.

In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, the criminal investigation officers were able to identify the suspect — a citizen named A.B., who was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the police, the detainee may be connected to other similar crimes. An investigation is underway to check his possible involvement in a number of thefts.
The Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek strongly advises citizens not to leave valuable items, documents, and money in cars, even for a short time, as this increases the likelihood of theft.
