On January 31, a victim approached the First May District Department of Internal Affairs, stating that on the same day, a briefcase containing 8,000 soms was stolen from a parked BMW X5 in a parking lot on Panfilov Street.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was opened under Article 205 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Officers from the criminal investigation department detained the suspect, known as A.B., who was placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigation, the police found that the detainee may be involved in other similar crimes. Investigative actions are ongoing to uncover additional episodes of his criminal activity.
