According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this man has been on international wanted list since 2023 under Interpol's "red notice," accused of committing large-scale fraud.
During the investigation, it was established that Y.M. conspired with the head of one of the organizations engaged in the sale of petroleum products and embezzled 1,536.51 tons of heating fuel, resulting in damages amounting to 51,780,387 soms.
Currently, the relevant authorities are preparing documents for the extradition of the detainee. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there are eight more citizens wanted by Kyrgyz law enforcement agencies in U.S. detention centers, three of whom have already been deported back to the country.
