A report was received by law enforcement agencies about the discovery of a corpse in the area of the bypass road on the outskirts of Bishkek. According to preliminary data, the deceased showed signs of violent death, which was confirmed by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the capital.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was opened under Article 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. It was established that the victim was a girl, S.B., born in 2006.
During operational activities, law enforcement agencies quickly tracked down the suspect, who turned out to be a young man, N.A., born in 2004. During the attempt to arrest him, he inflicted several stab wounds on himself.
Police officers provided him with first aid and called an ambulance. At the moment, the suspect is under guard in a medical facility.
The necessary forensic examinations have been appointed, and the pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
