According to reports, on January 30, a 29-year-old citizen named D.T. approached the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Issyk-Ata district. He reported that on January 19, 2026, an unknown person, pretending to be a buyer through "Lalafo," engaged in correspondence with him. Taking advantage of the young man's trust, the fraudster acquired 15 heads of sheep without making any payment. As a result, the victim incurred losses amounting to 435,000 soms.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During operational-search activities, the suspect, a 28-year-old citizen named Sh.Sh., was detained. It has been established that the stolen animals were sold by him, and the proceeds were used for personal needs. The investigation is ongoing.
