Society condemned the methods of "education"
In the Issyk-Kul region, an incident occurred where a physical education teacher struck four eighth-graders during a lesson. A video of the event, which surfaced on social media, sparked widespread resonance and criticism regarding physical punishment.
According to information from the regional police department, an investigation was initiated after a complaint was received from one of the students' parents. The incident took place on January 28 at around 11:00 AM in a secondary school in the village of Chyrak. The teacher, J.K., born in 1996, called four students to the board during a religious studies lesson and allegedly struck them "for educational purposes."
To determine the presence of bodily injuries, examinations were conducted; however, the parents of the boys did not express any complaints against the teacher. As a result of the investigation, the teacher was held accountable in accordance with Article 56 of the Code of Offenses.
