Hit the students. The PE teacher at Issyk-Kul was held accountable for the beatings.
According to the press service, on January 28, a statement was received at the Jetiy-Oguz District Police Department from a resident of the village of Chyrak, K.K., who reported that his son and his classmates had become victims of beatings by physical education teacher J.K. during a lesson.
The statement was registered, and soon preliminary investigative measures began.
During the investigation, it was found that on January 28 at around 11:00 AM, in the secondary school of the village of Chyrak, during a religious studies lesson, the teacher born in 1996, J.K., called four eighth-graders to the blackboard and, attempting to discipline them, struck them with his hands.
To determine the presence of bodily injuries, a forensic examination was appointed for the four students. However, the children's parents refused the examination and did not file any complaints against the teacher.
Currently, no criminal case has been initiated; however, J.K. has been held accountable under Article 56 "Beatings" of the Code of Offenses.
It should be noted that this article stipulates: "Infliction of beatings or other violent actions that cause physical pain, if they do not contain qualifying features, entails punishment of community service for 40 hours or arrest for a period of three to seven days."
