The incident occurred on January 31, when a police officer, patrolling Ogorodnaya Street, noticed the suspicious behavior of a young man. During surveillance, it was established that he was selling drugs through so-called "drops" in the capital.
Based on the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal manufacture and sale of narcotic substances.
As a result of operational-search activities, the suspect, a 16-year-old named T.B., was identified and detained. Upon his arrest, he indicated the locations where the "drops" were made and handed over 29 heat-shrinkable packages containing narcotic substances.
In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the detainee has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital.
The investigation is ongoing.
