As a result of this incident, the investigative service of the Sverdlovsk District Department of Internal Affairs opened a criminal case under Article 205 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, police officers identified and detained A. K., born in 1998, who was taken to the police station for further investigation.
The investigation revealed that together with A. Z., born in 2001, the detainee was selling the stolen mobile phones at the "Osh-Bazars" market.

Currently, both suspects have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Additionally, during searches at the "Besh-Sary" shopping center, more than 20 mobile phones were found and seized. Law enforcement agencies established a connection between the detainees and a number of pickpocketing incidents that occurred at the markets in the capital.
