According to law enforcement agencies, on the night of January 25, the criminals broke into the elderly man's house, beat him, tied his hands and feet, and then stole 165,000 soms from his safe, as well as a Samsung mobile phone. After committing the crime, the attackers fled the scene.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 207 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational measures, three citizens were detained: B.M. and J.A., both born in 1995, and R.M., born in 1978. All of them have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation established that the attack was organized by a relative of the victim from his ex-wife's side. According to the police, the suspects hoped to find a significant amount of money in the safe, allegedly obtained from the sale of a land plot; however, the majority of the funds were in a deposit account.
The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement agencies are conducting the necessary investigative actions.
