In Bishkek, suspects in a knife robbery have been detained
According to the First May District Internal Affairs Department, around 04:18 AM on January 6, a citizen named E.M. reported that a group of unknown individuals broke the window of his Honda Fit car, then beat him and inflicted a knife wound to his thigh. The attackers seized the car, damaged it, and stole a Xiaomi Poco X4 Pro 5G mobile phone worth 23,000 soms.
Additionally, it became known that E.M.'s acquaintance, citizen A.R., was forcibly put into a white Hyundai Sonata, taken to an unknown location, and also had his mobile phone stolen.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (robbery).
As a result of operational measures, the officers of the Main Internal Affairs Department and the First May District Internal Affairs Department were able to detain the suspects: E.T. (born in 2007), U.D. (born in 2006), M.A. (born in 2007), A.T. (born in 2009), M.T. (born in 2009), J.R. (born in 2009), and A.R. (born in 2007). All of them were placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Investigative actions are ongoing. The department emphasizes that after the investigation is completed, a legal assessment of the actions of the detainees will be provided.
