A teenager posted threats of attacks on educational institutions and kindergartens on social media
In Kazarman, a schoolboy was detained for posting threats of terrorist attacks on educational institutions. This information was provided by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
According to the SCNS, an eighth-grade student from one of the local schools published anonymous messages on social media, mentioning possible attacks on kindergartens and schools in the village of Kazarman, located in the Toguz-Toro district of the Jalal-Abad region.
As a result of operational measures, the identity of the young offender was established. It turned out that he was under the influence of outsiders on the internet and was experiencing psychological pressure.
The detainee has been handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation.
The SCNS also noted that for serious crimes, including threats of terrorism, responsibility begins at the age of 14. Such actions are punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to ten years.
