These complexes were implemented as part of the "Safe Country" program. The software development was carried out by IT specialists from the state institution "Kyzmat," which is under the management of the president.
According to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue is now under constant surveillance. The new systems are capable of recording the following violations:
- lack of seat belts;
- driving in the opposite lane;
- exceeding the established speed limit;
- running a red traffic light;
- ignoring traffic signs and markings.
During the monitoring process, a violation was recorded when a BMW driver accelerated to 155 kilometers per hour. The head of the Traffic Safety Department held an explanatory conversation with him and issued a fine, which was generated automatically.
It was previously reported that in Kyrgyzstan, the installation of 306 new devices is planned for 2026. In Bishkek, in addition to Aitmatov Avenue, such systems are already operational at the intersection of Akhunbaev and Toktonaliev Streets, as well as on Botaliev Street and Young Guard Boulevard.
