According to the received data, patrol service officers, as part of the preventive raid "Arsenal," discovered a citizen who was not complying with the rules for carrying firearms.
On January 24, 2026, the police, together with representatives of the relevant state authorities, conducted a raid in the area of the Papan Reservoir, located in the Kara-Suu district.
During the raid, it was found that A.T., born in 1984 and a resident of Osh, violated the rules for transporting his smoothbore firearm—he was transporting it without a special case, despite having permission from law enforcement authorities.
As a result, under Article 133 of the Code of Offenses, the man was fined 3000 soms.
The department emphasized that "citizens of Kyrgyzstan are allowed to store, transport, and use firearms only in the established manner, with the appropriate permission from the internal affairs authorities."
