According to law enforcement data, a citizen identified as A. R. approached the investigative service of the Oktyabrsky District Police Department. He reported that on the night of January 3 to 4, 2026, unknown individuals broke a window and illegally entered his home on Maldybaev Street, stealing a gold ring and wristwatch with a total value of $900. After this, the suspect fled the crime scene.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 205 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
A suspect in the apartment burglary was detained in Bishkek.
As a result of operational-search activities, police officers identified and detained the suspect, K. S., born in 1988, who had previous convictions. He was taken to the investigative service and then placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek Police Department.
Currently, law enforcement agencies continue to investigate his possible involvement in other similar crimes.
