In Suzak, a suspect in fraud has been detained

A 43-year-old man has been detained in Suzak on suspicion of fraud. This was reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jalal-Abad region on January 23.

According to the regional police, on January 14, 2026, a citizen identified as J.S., born in 1984, filed a complaint with the Suzak District Internal Affairs Department. He stated that in September 2025, a citizen identified as J.H. took 97 heads of small livestock from his farm, valuing each sheep at 33,000 soms, and promised to pay the money within two months. However, to date, the applicant claims that the money has not been paid.

As a result, the applicant, born in 1984, suffered damages amounting to 3,201,000 soms.

This fact has been registered by the investigative service of the Suzak District Internal Affairs Department under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code, and a criminal case has been initiated.

As part of the investigation, operatives from the criminal investigation department of the Suzak District Internal Affairs Department identified and brought in for questioning the suspect — citizen J.H., born in 1983.

By the decision of the Suzak District Court, the suspect has been remanded in custody for a period of two months. The investigation is ongoing.
