The suspect used Instagram for fraudulent activities
Employees of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek arrested a woman suspected of cyber fraud, as reported by sources from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
On January 14, 2026, M.N. approached the Department of Internal Affairs, reporting on fraudsters operating through Instagram from the account bella_gadane.kg. These individuals, having gained her trust, promised to help "open the way" and stole 523,366 soms from her, after which they blocked her and ceased communication.
As a result of this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, B.E., born in 1993, was identified and detained. She was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Department of Internal Affairs.
Upon arrest, evidence was seized from the detainee: mobile phones, bank cards, advertising materials, business cards with the number +996 500 38-06-75, books including the Quran and "Kabyil bolgon dualar," as well as an old book with yellowed pages, on the cover of which is a symbol resembling a Celtic Trinity knot. A deck of Tarot cards and banknotes resembling 100 US dollars were also found. All these items are now part of the criminal case.
