
In the Chui region, law enforcement officers have detained a suspect involved in fraudulent activities related to horse trafficking. This information was provided by the press service of the regional police department. The identity of the detained individual was established after a citizen, born in 1971, reported to the police on November 21, 2025.
The victim reported that on September 30, an unknown person approached him near the RIOM car market in the village of Voenno-Antonovka, introducing himself as M. He offered to transport 65 horses from Kazakhstan through the "Ak-Zhol" checkpoint, estimating the value of the deal at 7 million 20 thousand soms. As a result, the fraudster received 2 million tenge and livestock, after which he disappeared.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
During operational activities, police officers were able to identify the suspect, who turned out to be a citizen K.M., born in 1984, and he was placed in a temporary detention facility.
