Man Took Over 7 Million Soms from Victim Under the Pretext of Horse Racing and Disappeared
According to information provided by the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chui region, on November 21, 2025, a citizen identified as A.Z., born in 1971, filed an official complaint about fraud. The complainant reported that on September 30, 2025, a certain M., while near the car market "RIOM" in the mentioned village, convinced him to hand over 2,000,000 tenge and 65 heads of horses, valued at 7,020,000 soms, under the pretext of transporting them from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan through the "Ak-Zhol" checkpoint. After that, the fraudster disappeared.
It became known that the victim suffered significant financial losses, with the total amount of damage amounting to 7,330,400 soms.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
During the investigation, police officers identified the suspect — a citizen identified as K.M., born in 1984. He was detained in accordance with the provisions of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to clarify all the details of the incident.
