According to the agency, the detention occurred as part of an investigation into a criminal case of fraud and extortion involving large sums, in which Manas Sultanov (M. A. S.), engaged in pawnshop activities, is implicated.
The State Committee claims that Isaev, acting as a partner and lawyer for Sultanov, actively participated in the blackmail and extortion of real estate from the leaders of the companies "Expert Stroy" LLC and "Arz Development" LLC. He used his legal knowledge to exert pressure on representatives of construction companies and shareholders, threatening them and facilitating illegal restrictions on property rights to construction sites.
