The State Committee for National Security (GKNB) reported the return of a 2700 square meter plot of land, which houses the central stadium of Osh, to state ownership. This plot, which was part of the stadium, was unlawfully transferred to private hands, which also led to a change in its intended use.
During the conducted inspection, it was found that this plot pertains to social infrastructure facilities. According to the presidential decree dated February 16, 1995, No. 37, such facilities cannot be sold by either state or privatized enterprises and must maintain their previous usage order if they are on their balance sheet or were transferred free of charge.
According to the GKNB, the transfer of this land parcel to private ownership was carried out in violation of the specified requirements. Following the conducted measures, the plot along with the structures on it was returned to the state and transferred to the management of the Osh city administration.
The GKNB emphasizes that this decision will improve conditions for the development of social infrastructure and create a more comfortable urban environment. Additionally, the committee reminds that all objects of state and municipal property that have been unlawfully transferred to private hands are subject to return.
