The area of the returned plot is 2,700 square meters, on which there are buildings that had previously changed their intended purpose during privatization.
During the inspection, it was established that such privatization contradicts Presidential Decree No. 37 dated February 16, 1995, which prohibits the sale of social infrastructure facilities, regardless of the state’s share in the authorized capital. These facilities cannot be transferred to third parties, even if they were transferred free of charge or remained on the balance sheet.
Now the disputed territory and buildings once again belong to the state and have been transferred to the management of the Osh city administration. The GKNB emphasized that this decision is aimed at improving urban infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for citizens.
