Part of the territory of the central stadium in Osh has once again become state property. This is reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
The returned area includes buildings with a total area of 2700 square meters.
According to the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 16, 1995, No. 37 "On Urgent Measures to Ensure Conditions for the Further Use of Social Infrastructure Facilities," social infrastructure facilities are not subject to privatization by state and private enterprises, regardless of the state’s share in the authorized capital, if they are on the balance of these institutions or were transferred for gratuitous use during privatization with the condition of maintaining the order of their use.
However, as explained by the GKNB, this facility was illegally transferred into private hands and its intended purpose was changed, which is a violation of the aforementioned decree.
