Every day, the investigative-operational group of GOM-8, located in the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District, responds to calls to document the details of incidents and gather necessary evidence. On January 16, the editorial team of "AKIpress Summary" decided to spend a day with these officers to see how their work unfolds from the inside.

The day began with a briefing from the head of GOM-8, Alisher Abylov.

The first call the group responded to was a complaint about instances of domestic violence. The report came from a former couple living in the Kolmo residential area. The conflict arose over a dispute regarding who their eldest son, a 23-year-old young man, would live with.

The officer conducted a preventive conversation with the former spouses, resulting in their decision to resolve the situation amicably.

After that, the police officers headed to a hypermarket on Mahatma Gandhi Street, where a bicycle had been stolen. A visitor had left their property unattended and did not secure it with a special lock. Law enforcement detained the suspect right at the scene of the incident.

At that time, a call came into the 102 service from a resident of the capital. She reported that due to debts, she found herself in a difficult life situation and needed psychological support. While the officer was on the way to her, the deputy head of GOM-8, Usun Arapbaev, spoke with her, managed to calm her down, and advised her to see a psychologist. She agreed to meet with a specialist.

Every day, the investigative-operational group of GOM-8 processes about 60-70 calls. The police officers continue to respond to citizens' requests, conduct preventive measures, and maintain public order in the Pervomaisky District.
