In Bishkek, a blogger's car was broken into and a bag with personal documents and $2000 was stolen.

Employees of the Interior Ministry of the Lenin District of Bishkek reported the detention of a suspect in a car theft, according to information from the press service of the department.

A citizen named D.S. contacted the Interior Ministry with a statement, in which she reported that on January 10, 2026, in the parking lot of one of the local parks, an unknown person broke the rear right window of her car and stole a bag containing personal documents and 2000 dollars.

In connection with the incident, the Investigative Service of the Interior Ministry of the Lenin District initiated a criminal case under Article 205 (theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

As a result of operational-search activities, including the use of surveillance technologies from the "Safe City" system, the police were able to identify and detain the suspect, who turned out to be A.A., born in 1993. He was taken to the Investigative Service and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department.
