In the morning, the 102 service received a call from a woman who reported that her ex-husband had beaten her. The man himself also contacted law enforcement.
A patrol crew arrived at the scene of the incident and subsequently took both participants of the conflict to the GOM-8 of the First May District Police Department for clarification of the circumstances. During a conversation with the district officer, each of them made accusations against the other. According to the man, he suffered a stroke and has not lived with his ex-wife for a long time, but she continues to come to him and cause scandals. The reason for the latest quarrel, he said, was their 23-year-old son's unwillingness to return to his mother, preferring to stay with his father.
The man noted that he had not sought help before and tried not to give in to provocations due to health issues. To limit his ex-wife's visits, he denied her access to his home; however, she continues to find ways to come to him.
The district police officer decided to conduct a preventive conversation and urged the older child to pay attention to both parents. During the investigation, it was revealed that the man did not harm his ex-wife.
