In Nookat, a car was stolen and then they tried to exchange it for another one on social media.

According to information provided by the Internal Affairs Department of the Osh region, the incident occurred on the night of December 1, 2025, when M. E., born in 1966, reported to the Nookat District Police Department about the theft of his VAZ-2107 car, which was parked near his home.

This case was registered, and a preliminary investigation began. Based on the collected data, a criminal case was initiated under Article 211 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal acquisition of vehicles.

As part of operational-search measures, two suspects were detained: M. N., born in 2003, and T. M., born in 2007. Both were placed in a temporary detention facility.

According to the investigation, after stealing the vehicle, the suspects posted an advertisement for its sale on social media and successfully exchanged it for another vehicle.

Currently, operational-investigative actions are ongoing.
