In the city of Nookat, a local resident was beaten and had his phone stolen.

In Nookat, suspects in a robbery have been detained, reported the press service of the Osh regional internal affairs department.

According to their information, on January 5, 2026, a citizen A.Z., born in 1982, filed a complaint with the Nookat District Internal Affairs Department.

The complainant stated that on December 17, 2025, in the city of Nookat, unknown individuals assaulted him and took his mobile phone.

This incident was registered, and a preliminary investigation was initiated. Based on the collected materials, a criminal case was opened under Article 206 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Robbery"), and operational investigative actions were commenced.

As a result of the conducted operational search activities, previously convicted citizen N. uulu B., born in 1999, as well as citizen K.A., born in 1988, were detained as suspects. They have been placed in a temporary detention facility.

Currently, operational investigative measures are ongoing to establish the possible involvement of the detainees in other crimes.
