The Ministry of Internal Affairs detained former deputy of the Akim's Council, Akkulu Berdiev.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, former deputy Berdiev, whose initials are B. A. T., fraudulently acquired a significant amount of money in 2022, which he used for personal needs. Currently, all necessary investigative actions are being taken in connection with the case.

Additionally, the Ministry reported that complaints had previously been filed against Berdiev by his wife regarding domestic violence. These complaints have been registered and are under review in accordance with the law.

Recently, Bermet Ormonova, who claims to be the wife of the former deputy, recorded a video appeal to the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev. In this appeal, she spoke about the systematic violence from her husband.

Ormonova, 60 years old and mother of five children, claims that Berdiev kicked her out of the house and used physical force against both her and the children. The woman stated that she reached out to the public due to threats to her family's safety and also mentioned her husband's polygamy.
