In a car accident near the ski resort "Chunkurchak," a seven-year-old child was killed.

A traffic accident occurred on the Bishkek - Chunkurchak highway, near the ski resort "Chunkurchak," where a seven-year-old boy died as a result of the incident. The accident took place on the evening of January 10.

According to eyewitness accounts and information from the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, the driver of the BMW X7, born in 1990, lost control of the vehicle on one of the hairpin turns. The car went off the road and fell into a ravine on the third turn.

At the time of the incident, the driver's son, a boy born in 2018, was in the car, who, despite the efforts of medical personnel, died at City Clinical Hospital No. 3.

The driver sustained serious injuries and was urgently transported to the Chui Regional Hospital, where he is currently in intensive care. His condition is assessed as critical; he is unconscious and has been diagnosed with "open traumatic brain injury."

An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
