A 7-Year-Old Child Died in a Car Accident Near the Chonkurchak Ski Resort

In the Alamidin district of the Chui region, near the Chunkurchak ski base, a tragedy occurred resulting in the death of a 7-year-old boy, as reported by local residents who witnessed the incident.

According to their testimonies, the driver of a "BMW X7" lost control on a winding section of the road, causing the car to skid off into a ditch.

The driver was hospitalized in serious condition.

The press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region provided information that the incident occurred on January 10 at around 5:00 PM. The driver, T. uulu M., born in 1990, was behind the wheel of the "BMW X7" and lost control of the vehicle on the third serpentine of the Bishkek—Chunkurchak road, veering off the roadway and falling into a ravine.

According to data from City Clinical Hospital No. 3, as a result of the accident, his son, T. B. M., born in 2018, passed away.

At present, the driver is in the intensive care unit of the Chui Regional Hospital, his condition is serious: he has sustained an open traumatic brain injury and is unconscious.
