Drunk Driver Banged His Head on the Ground and Had a Tantrum During Arrest

On the night of January 4th, around 02:00, the UPSM officers stopped a Hyundai vehicle at the intersection of the Southern Highway and Bakayev Street. The driver, a man, showed signs of alcohol intoxication. The UPSM press service published a video of this incident.

According to the agency's information, when the inspectors asked the driver to provide his documents, he began to behave inadequately: he threw a tantrum, struck himself, lay down on the roadway, and claimed that law enforcement officers had inflicted bodily harm on him. He also attempted to simulate sleeping.

Despite the provocations from the detained individual, the patrol officers acted in accordance with the law.

During a medical examination at a narcological facility, it was confirmed that the driver had indeed consumed alcohol.

The vehicle was placed in a tow lot, and a report on the offense was drawn up against the driver.
