During his working trip to Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, participated in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in a narrow format. According to the government, welcoming ceremonies and a joint photo session took place before the start of the event.

Key issues regarding the deepening of economic integration and expanding multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) were discussed.

The meeting was also attended by the heads of government of the EAEU member states, including the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Turchin, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, the Chairman of the Government of Russia, Mikhail Mishustin, the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Mger Grigoryan, as well as the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Bakytzhan Sagintayev.

The expanded meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will continue on March 27 and is expected to address more than ten issues.
