Industrial growth in Kyrgyzstan accelerated to 12.7% year-on-year at the beginning of 2026, - analysis
In January of this year, growth reached 12.7% compared to the same period last year.
Analysis shows that significant influence on this result came from companies engaged in the extraction of metallic ores, which contributed 3.5 percentage points. Other non-metallic goods production (3.2 p.p.), basic metals (2.8 p.p.), and food products (2 p.p.) also played an important role.
These sectors accounted for a total of 45% of the overall dynamics of the industry.
According to data at the end of 2025, industrial growth was 10.6%. This positive result was largely due to increased production volumes in the food industry, which saw a growth of 30.1%, as well as in enterprises engaged in the production of non-metallic mineral products, where growth reached 36.6%.
