The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan adopted a bill on the ratification of the agreement for the construction of the KRSU campus
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the deputies unanimously supported the bill regarding the ratification of the agreement on the construction of the campus of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The bill was presented by the Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations, Bekbosun Borubashev.
According to the information contained in the agreement, the construction of the campus will be financed from the federal budget of Russia, while the Kyrgyz side will provide a land plot of at least 30 hectares and ensure connection to engineering networks. The new campus will be able to accommodate 15,000 students and will include educational buildings, dormitories, a medical cluster, and other facilities. The construction is planned to take place in the village of Baytik.
